Because of the circulating air in the oven, the temps don't vary much, so the location is less important. Just make sure not to install it right next to the heating elements. If you have an oven without any circulation, the temps can vary quite a bit and it would be best to install your heating element in the area that most of your parts will sit when they are being cured.
